Havila Shipping, Reach Subsea Ink Subsea Vessel Deal
Havila Shipping and Reach Subsea have entered into a contract for the subsea vessel Havila Harmony for a period of three years.
The contract also includes two optional years, Havila informed.
The contract secures work for minimum period per year and the owner and charterer will market the vessel to secure highest possible utilization.
Havila Harmony is on its way to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, where it will be docked for planned maintenance and will then continue to the first job. The vessel will be mobilized with one ROV onboard, which Reach Subsea will lease initially.
The commercial terms of the charter agreement are confidential between the parties, Reach Subsea said.
Havila Harmony, of MT 6010 design, was built by Havyard Leirvik. The Norwegian-flagged vessel has a length of 92,95 meters and a beam of 19,70 meters.
It is capable of conducting various subsea construction tasks and support operations.
