Subsea World News has put together a recap of the most interesting articles from the previous week (October 30 – November 05).


McDermott International has received a letter of award from Reliance Industries for the KG-D6 subsea field development in the Krishna Godavari Basin, located off the east coast of India.

McDermott will provide engineering, procurement, installation and pre-commissioning of subsea flowlines, vent lines, and a pipeline-end manifold for connection with six subsea wells in the R-cluster field at a water depth of up to 2,100 meters.


McDermott has been awarded for a contract between USD $250 million and USD $500 million for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) services for an offshore Middle East redevelopment project.

McDermott plans to fabricate and install four wellhead topsides, a manifold platform and jacket together with associated subsea pipelines and brownfield tie-in works.

 


DOF Subsea said it has been awarded a number of contracts, securing utilisation for several vessels in the Subsea IMR projects segment.

In the Atlantic region, DOF Subsea has been awarded a contract within wind industry, securing utilisation of Skandi Neptune for 45 days + options in Q4.

 


Ocean Installer has been awarded an agreement with Siccar Point Energy and Baker Hughes, a GE company, to support the appraisal and early production phases of the Cambo Project, with the ability to extend into the future developments.

Ocean Installer will execute the job as part of an alliance with Baker Hughes, a GE Company (BHGE), which targets projects where Ocean Installer and BHGE benefits each other.


TechnipFMC together with Petronas Research (PRSB) and Petronas Technology Ventures (PTVSB), has signed a tripartite heads of agreement.

This collaboration will leverage all parties’ best technology, expertise, personnel, assets and facilities in areas such as gas separation technology, desanding and sand disposal, enhanced oil recovery solutions, unmanned equipment and operations.
