South Korean port plans $2.2 billion expansion to handle demand from China

Incheon, South Korea’s second-biggest port, plans a 2 trillion won, or $2.2 billion, expansion to handle rising trade with China.

The state-run Incheon Port Authority expects to build a new container pier by 2013 to more than triple container cargo volumes, Suh Jung Ho, the port operator’s chief executive officer, said.
