A little extravagance

SHE’S a quarter the size of the average cruise ship but her prices are four times as big.

Meet True North — at 50m she’s the only passenger liner that can grace the Gold Coast, but what she lacks in size she makes up for in class.

While her big sisters of the sea measure up to 200m and charge an average $5000 a person for a two-week trip, True North’s princely berths are priced at up to $20,000 per passenger.

Rather than touring the high seas, the extravagant vessel specialises in Australian and Oceania adventures, with the Kimberley, Cairns and Papua New Guinea on her annual itinerary.
