Dee Caffari eyes Volvo after vendee globe

Around-the-world British sailor Dee Caffari has given a strong hint that she might take part in the Volvo Ocean Race after taking on the 2008 Vendee Globe.

Caffari, who is bidding to break the Gallic stranglehold on the single-handed around-the-world race, told the Volvo Sailing Podcast in an exclusive interview that she got a taste for the Volvo Open 70 class when she joined the ABN AMRO ONE in-port racing crew during the stopover in Portsmouth in the 2005-06 race.
