HVS Delivers New Bulk Carrier to Turkish Ship Owner

On 02 March, 2012, Delivery Signing Ceremony for Bulk Carrier MV South was successfully held under attendance of representatives from owner and the Yard.

“M/V South” is the 1st vessel in the series of eight bulk carriers ordered by ship owner Geden Lines, Turkey.

The vessel is effectively operated by the ship owner and ready for her first voyage to Indonesia.

Hyundai – Vinashin Shipyard Co., Ltd. operates as a shipyard that provides ship repair, conversion, and shipbuilding services. It repairs and converts bulk carriers, crude oil/product tankers, containerships, pure car and truck carriers, LNG/LPG carriers, and dredgers/barges, as well as offshore projects, such as crane barges, floating platforms, and jack up rings. The company was founded in 1996 and is based in Khanh Hoa, Vietnam. Hyundai – Vinashin Shipyard Co., Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd.
