Image of the Day: Britoil Energy’s Launching Smooth as Silk

Today’s image shows Britoil’s second ULSTEIN PX121 newbuild, the “Britoil Energy”, which was successfully launched today at PT. Britoil Offshore Indonesia, located on the island of Batam.

The launch was commented by the Ulstein Group representative in South East Asia, Gunnar Haug:

“The launching was smooth as silk, just like the previous one in January. The twin sisters “Britoil Power” and “Britoil Energy” now accompany each other – being outfitted alongside at the same yard.”

Singapore-based Britoil has a fleet of 40 vessels, mainly anchor handling tugs and barges. These new PSVs will mark Britoil’s entry into the PSV market.
