India: NPCC Charters Seamec Princess DSV
Seamec Ltd, India’s leading provider of diving support services, has entered into Charter Party with the UAE-based National Petroleum Construction Company, Abu Dhabi (U.A.E), for its vessel “Seamec Princess”.
The contract, valued at $1.66 million will see the vessel work for NPCC in Bombay High offshore oil field, located 160 kilometres offshore Mumbai, India. Seamec Princess is a DP2 saturation diving support vessel built in 1984.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, Seamec Ltd, which is a part of the Technip Group based in France, says that the contract is for a firm period of 30 days with option for extension. The charter started on March 2, 2012.
