Pertamina Boosts LPG Supplies

PT Pertamina (Persero) continues to increase national LPG supply level, which now is at the 11.4-day level.

In overall, the LPG stock level in all regions is still in secure condition.

The national stock at the level of 11.4-day is relatively sufficient to prevent any disruption to LPG stock and distribution.

Usually with the stock at 11-day to 15-day level, supply and distribution do not face any disruption. We have also prepared anticipative steps to minimize any obstacle in supply and distribution of national LPG,” Vice President Corporate Communication of Pertamina Mochamad Harun said.

The LPG stock level at Pangkalan Susu Depot on Friday, in overall, was in secure level after the Depot received 2,600 MT LPG, shipped by Patra II and Patra III Gas Carrier Ship on Friday.

The operation of Pangkalan Susu STS on 26 February 2012 will further strengthen LPG stock,” Harun said.

LPG stock at Tanjung Priok Depot is at 5,059 MT level and the Depot will receive additional 2,500 MT imported LPG, which will arrive on 14 February. On the same day, Eratan Ship carrying 8,000 MT LPG will dock at the Depot. As such, the stock security will further increase.

The stock sufficiency at JBB Ancol LPG Terminal will receive support from Tanjung Priok and Eretan Depot, while waiting for additional 2,500 MT supply to be delivered on 14 February. Currently the LPG stock level at JBB Ancol Terminal is at 1,658 MT.

Eretan Terminal received 7,000 MT additional LPG stock Friday. The supply was carried by Widuri Ship to add to current LPG stock at 1,902 MT level.

Regarding the condition at eastern Indonesia, the LPG stock at Semarang CPO Terminal is at 1,199 MT level. As such, the supply to areas serviced by Semarang CPO Terminal will be supported from Balongan, Eretan and Tanjung Priok. Besides, additional 7,000 MT LPG supply is scheduled to arrive on 12 February.

Meanwhile, LPG stock at Tanjung Perak Depot is at relatively safe position of 3,978 MT. Tanjung Perak will receive 4,500 MT LPG supply today and 3,500 MT tomorrow. Subsequently, stock will be sufficiently supplied from Kalbut, Situbondo, which only requires a few hours.

The LPG stock at Gresik MEM Terminal on 10 February was at 2,312 MT level and is sufficient for the next 3 days. Additional 3,500 MT supply is predicted to arrive on 14 February.
