Installation License Issued for TX2 Port Terminal

LLX Logística S.A., the private Brazilian company developing Açu Superport, the largest port infrastructure investment in Latin America, which will be the Brazilian hub for the Oil and Gas industry and one of the largest ports in the world, announces that on May 17, 2013, the Environmental State Agency issued an installation license for the construction of a port terminal for cargo handling, located in TX2.

The TX2is an onshore terminal consisting of a canal 6.5 km long and 300 m wide, with 13 km of quay and depth ranging between 10 m and 18.5 m. Besides the offshore support industries, the TX2 will feature a port terminal for cargo handling such as solid and liquid bulk, general and project cargoes.
