K2 Management Opens Branch Office in Taiwan
K2 Management is now in a stronger position to supply its support, knowledge and experience to the wind industry in Taiwan and the surrounding region, with the official opening of the company’s office in Taiwan in July 2013.
The local Government has set the goal to install 1000 wind turbines by 2030, divided into 600 offshore turbines and 400 onshore turbines. The wind resources at the west coast in particular are great, and K2 Management is already in contact with the 2 private developers who are working on the establishment of 2 demonstration units to be ready by 2015, as well as with the only state-owned power company – Taiwan Power Company (TPC), who also welcomes the arrival of K2 Management’s expertise in the area.
The branch office will be lead by Cheng-Hu Hu, Representative of K2 Management in Taiwan.
