Leighton Offshore Secures Contracts in Singapore and Australia

Shell Eastern Petroleum Pte Ltd has awarded Leighton Offshore contracts for early engineering works and initial mobilization and procurement for its Bukom SPM 48” Subsea Pipeline Repair project in Singapore.

Leighton is also in advanced discussions with Shell for the installation contract for this project which would commence this year and includes de-oiling of an existing SPM, PLEM, Hoses and 48” Pipeline, deburial and removal of existing pipeline and installation of new 48” pipeline and SPM.

Leighton Offshore Contract in Australia

Leighton Engineering have also been awarded a contract by the sister company Leighton Contractors for engineering support for the Gorgon Jetty Project in Perth, Western Australia.

This work involves the provision of Marine and Naval Architecture engineering support services in connection with the load out and transportation of concrete caissons by barge, including stability and motion analysis, sea fastening design and detailing, grillage design and mooring analysis
