LNG Limited granted land lease extension for Gladstone project

Liquefied Natural Gas Limited said that its unit, Gladstone LNG, has received a one month extension of the site lease at Fisherman’s Landing.

The Gladstone Ports Corporation granted the lease extension to 31 October 2014 for the site located at the Port of Gladstone in Queensland, Australia.

In a recent shareholders presentation the company stated that resolving the future of the Fisherman’s Landing LNG project in Gladstone is one of the top priorities of LNG Limited. The company is looking to secure adequate gas supply for the first LNG train either through the PetroChina Australia LOI or directly under GSA/tolling agreements with third parties.
