Mintra to Exceed Growth Targets (UK)

Aberdeen-based Mintra Training Portal Limited has capped its first 18 months in business by securing a clutch of training contracts worth £8million.

A leading provider of learning, training and competency solutions for the oil and gas industry, the company is on track to significantly exceed its growth targets in its second year of business.

The latest wins will see Mintra provide a diverse range of offerings to clients including CNR International, GDF Suez, Petrofac, Talisman Energy and Apache, both in the UK and globally over the next five years. It will also see the creation of at least five new jobs immediately with up to 10 additional posts expected in the medium term.

Mintra Training Portal Limited, a joint venture between Norwegian firm Mintra A.S. and entrepreneurial investment company Enerco Venture, provides bespoke and generic training to more than 250,000 people in over 300 companies in the oil and gas industry every year.

Mintra has a team of over 80 specialists in Aberdeen, Oslo and Stavanger and recently invested over £2million in its flagship Training Portal learning management system.
