More work for DOF

Offshore vessel owners DOF has had a fruitful month when it comes to securing new vessel deals.

The company on Friday said its subsidiary, DOF Subsea, a provider of subsea services, has received a letter of award for one of its subsea vessels.

The company didn’t revealed the name of the client, but said the deal was with an oil major for operations in the Atlantic region.

The duration of the contract is over a year and has start date in the first quarter of 2017.

To remind, DOF on Monday said it had won two contracts in Egypt with a large international contractor in for the vessels Skandi Saigon and Skandi Sotra.

Both contracts have a duration of 75 days firm + 30 days options with start up in February.

Skandi Sotra is a PSV, MT 6000 and Skandi Saigon an AHTS, Vard AH08 design.

Also, DOF Subsea was last Friday awarded a three-year inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) frame agreement in the Asia Pacific region with “one of the major oil and gas companies in the region.”

Furthermore, Norskan Offshore, a Brazilian  subsidiary of DOF, recently secured secured three long-term charters with Petrobras.
