New Chairman in PA Resources

PA Resources, a Sweden-based oil and gas company, has announced that Jerome Schurink has decided to step down as director and chairman of the board in the company as a result of taking up a new position based in Dubai.

The company said that the board of directors have appointed Philippe Probst as the acting chairman until the upcoming annual general meeting.

The Board of directors in April resolved to postpone its annual general meeting (AGM) that was scheduled for May 29, until a later date pending the completion of a short-term financing agreement. The company said in a press release from April 24 that new date for AGM would be announced in due course.

Probst, acting chairman of the board comments: “On behalf of the board and the management of PA Resources I would like to thank Jerome for his commitment and dedication as the chairman which has been most valuable for the company in a challenging time.”
