New Contract for SeaBird’s Vessel ‘Aquila Explorer’

SeaBird Exploration Plc (SeaBird) announced that the Aquila Explorer has been awarded a 2D contract in the Far East region.

The contract has an estimated duration of about 60 days and an estimated value of approximately USD 8 million. Startup is expected early January 2014.

MV Aquila Explorer was converted to 2D-Source vessel in Singapore 2007. The vessel is designed for worldwide operation.

SeaBird is a global provider of marine acquisition for 2D/3D and 4D seismic data, and associated products and services to the oil and gas industry.
