Nominees for Offshore Energy Public Outreach Award announced

The 3 nominees for the first Offshore Energy Public Outreach Award have been announced.

The jury consisting of Sander Vergroesen (Managing Director, IRO), Saskia Tates (Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs ENGIE E&P Nederland BV) and Jaap den Ouden (Den Ouden Waterside Industries BV) found some of the submitted projects to be examples of outstanding achievements in the field of public outreach.

The three best submissions and thereby nominees are:

* Heerema Marine Contractors with: Our Oceans Challenge

* Maritime Museum with: the Offshore Experience

* Van Oord Offshore Wind Projects BVwith: Van Oord Project team for the Gemini Offshore Wind Park EPC Project

The winner will be announced during the Offshore Energy Opening Gala Dinner on Monday 24th of October in Beurs van Berlage.

Other submissions came from Delta Institute, Dredging International N.V., Kongsberg, SPE Netherlands, TenneT, and Ecofys.

In addition to the awards ceremony, this black tie gala dinner at the impressive Beurs van Berlage, in the center of Amsterdam will serve a culinary dinner with musical interludes and speeches by dignitaries. Mathijs Bouman, known for his work with RTL Television and the Dutch Financial Newspaper just to name a few, will be the host for the evening.

Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (OEEC) is an annual event focused on the complete offshore energy industry, from oil & gas to the wind and marine energy.

The two-day event, to be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 25 & 26 October includes an exhibition where an expected 650+ supply chain companies will showcase their products and services.
