‘Normand Cutter’ arrives at Damen Shiprepair yard

Solstad’s Multi Purpose Offshore Vessel “Normand Cutter” has arrived at Damen Shiprepair yard in Rotterdam.

'Normand Cutter' arrives at Damen Shiprepair yardDamen Shipyards Group has announced through social media that the vessel arrived at the yard for the following repair items: overhaul of all four main engines, overhaul of the 300-ton SWL National Oilwell offshore crane, hull cleaning and painting, inspection / repairs of thrusters and installation of a grillage on main deck.

After the dry-docking period the “Normand Cutter” will resume her charter with the Italian offshore contractor Saipem.

The 127,5 m long vessel, built in 2001 by Ulstein Verft, is equipped and fitted for operation in both shallow and deep water and continuous operation at sea for 40 days. CSV “Normand Cutter” is of VS 4125 CLV design and can accommodate 114 persons.
