Norway - Island Offshore Extends Contract for MV Island Champion

Island Offshore, announced that Team Marine (Chevron) has declared the first of five yearly options to use the MV Island Champion.

The vessel has sailed with Team Marine since 2007. “Island Offshore look forward to another year with within the Team Marine PSV pool.” said the Company on its website

The vessel chartered by Chevron UK, which is a part of the Team Marine pool which comprises of several oil companies on the UK side of the North Sea. The vessel is trading out of Aberdeen and its main scope of work is platform supply, but through the charter period the vessel has been engaged in several projects involving frac, and well stimulation duties.

The Island Offshore Group is a provider of services to the offshore industry ranging from Platform Supply and Anchor Handling to Advanced Subsea Operations including Increased Oil Recovery (IOR) and Light Well Intervention (LWI). Company’s fleet consists of vessels with an average age of less than 3 years. Almost twenty vessels are currently operating in Brazil, Mexico, USA and in the North Sea.
