Norway: Island Offshore Signs Charter Agreement for MV Island Vanguard

Island Offshore announce an agreement with Statoil Petroleum ASA for a three month charter with the MV Island Vanguard.

The main duty for the vessel is anchor handling and associated work and the vessel commenced her charter 14th of January 2012.

“Island Offshore is grateful for the contract and look forward to a good cooperation with Statoil.” read the company’s press release.

The Island Vanguard has been designed as a large AHTS vessel with subsea installation and light construction vessel capabilities. The vessel meets the toughest requirements in the industry.
