Norway - J.J. Ugland Enters Charter Contract for PSV

J.J. Ugland Companies announced that the company has extended charter party for two shuttle tankers and chartered out Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) Evita for a period of 500 days.

The Mattea charter party for offloading of offshore installations on the Grand Banks has been extended until November 2014.

The Vinland charter party with Petrobras for service in Brazilian waters has been extended up to November 2016.

PSV Evita has been chartered out to Lundin Norway AS for a period of 5‐6 wells (estimated 500 days) plus 3 optional wells, to support jack‐up Maersk Guardian. The vessel will be delivered to Lundin between 24 December, 2012 and 15 February, 2013. The rate is private.

Since delivery she has been employed in the Barents and the North Sea spot-markets, on both the UK and Norwegian sides. She was also fixed on a 40-day term contract to MLS/Lundin supporting the drilling rig Transocean Arctic in the Barents Sea.

The vessel has performed well and has received only positive feedback from customers.
