Norway: Siem Offshore Secures Contracts for Two PSVs

Statoil has declared contract options for the large-size PSV ‘Siem Pilot’ and the medium-size PSV ‘Siddis Skipper’.  The term of the contracts is 2 years for the ‘Siem Pilot’ and 1 year, with 1 year option, for the ‘Siddis Skipper’.

The contracts shall commence in direct continuation from current contracts (January 2012). The contracts are entered into on negotiated terms.

The ‘Siem Pilot’ and ‘Siddis Skipper’ is owned by the subsidiary Siem Meling Offshore DA, in which Siem Offshore has 51% ownership.

Siem Offshore Inc. is an owner and operator of modern support vessels for the global oil and gas service industry.

The Company has grown significantly and has currently a fleet of 45 vessels, of which 7 are under construction. The Company’s fleet includes large anchor handling tug supply vessels, platform supply vessels, and other support vessels.

The Company has an integrated operation with offices in Norway, Brazil and Cayman Islands, and provides a wide range of services from its vessels, equipment and experienced onshore and offshore personnel with high focus on Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
