Norwegian EMGS receives LOI for 3D EM Survey

EMGS’ CEO Roar Baker said, “Based on growing demand from new and existing customers, we have decided to mobilize the vessel BOA Thalassa towards Africa and Norway”.

BOA Thalassa is a 3D EM vessel with a capacity to carry 200 receivers that enable large and complex 3D EM surveys to be acquired. It is equipped with parallel source systems, including winches, cranes and hydraulic feeds and offers full redundancy with two high-power source systems, including all handling equipment for reduced technical downtime. This minimizes technical downtime and helps to reduce data delivery times.
