The 2014-built subsea construction vessel will expand Ocean Infinity’s platform for AUV data acquisition and analysis, and support a variety of operations globally, the company said on Monday.

Island Pride is a multi-functional subsea support and construction vessel of UT 737 design with 103 meters in length, a beam of 21 meters and free deck space of 880m2. The vessel is equipped with deep water crane and two work-class ROVs.

Ocean Infinity CEO, Oliver Plunkett, commented, “Given our success in the market and our clear path to future growth we felt it was important to expand by partnering for the long term.”

It is worth mentioning that Ocean Infinity was recently awarded a contract by Woodside Energy for the provision of data in support of the Scarborough field development located offshore Australia.

The contract with Woodside involves a deepwater geophysical pre-engineering route survey.
