OSX Appoints New CEO (Brazil)

OSX announces that Mr. Carlos Eduardo Sardenberg Bellot, current Operations, Engineering, Leasing and Developing Officer of OSX assumes the position of CEO of OSX. Mr. Bellot has been an officer (COO) of the Company during the last two years and shall keep his previous position until further deliberation.

Carlos Bellot worked at Petrobras for more than 30 years, where he occupied several managerial positions, such as General Manager of the Campos Basin Business Unit, where he was responsible for all the operations in such basin. Mr. Bellot is a chemical engineer and has also worked for international subsidiaries of Petrobras and was a member of the Board of Directors of several companies of the Petrobras system and private corporations.

Carlos Bellot takes office as the CEO of OSX replacing Luiz Eduardo Guimarães Carneiro who, after having headed the Company for the past two years, renounced on this date to become the CEO of OGX.
