Paradise Gas Carriers Adds Gas Carrier Duo to Its Newbuild Tally

Greek gas carrier owner Paradise Gas Carriers has ordered two fully-pressurized gas carriers featuring 7,500 cbm in capacity.

The order has been placed with Japanese shipbuilder Kyokuyo Shipyard, according to the company’s Chief Executive Constantine Tsakiris.

The gas carriers are scheduled to be delivered to their Greek owner in the second and third quarters of 2017, respectively.

Paradise Gas Carriers already has two 7,000 cbm semi-refrigerated gas carries on order at Kyokuyo, slated for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2017 and the first quarter of 2018.

The four newbuilds are estimated to be worth USD 100 million.

The company operates a fleet of six gas carriers.
