Penspen Adds New Members to Its Centre for Engineering Excellence

Penspen has made two new appointments at its Centre for Engineering Excellence (CEE), which has been in operation since January.

Tom Agbabi will join in the area of field development and Peter Falconer will provide asset integrity expertise to the centre.

Dr Tom Agbabi joined Penspen six years ago and started at the CEE in April. Dr Tom will manage engineering studies for Penspen clients, including field development studies, conceptual studies, FEEDs, capital estimates and proposal support.

Peter Falconer has worked in all areas of asset integrity management, including offshore, onshore, pressure systems, pipelines, subsea, etc. Peter will be supporting clients with asset integrity studies, asset life extension and decommissioning in his new role with the company.

Peter O’Sullivan, chief executive officer of Penspen, said: “The CEE has gone from strength to strength since it became operational, we have already seen some truly positive results from the teams and individuals involved.

“Having both Tom and Peter join the team will allow us to continue to expand our expertise into their speciality areas and I am already seeing the benefits our clients receive from working with each of them.
