Peru dispatches LNG cargo to Mexico

Peru’s only liquefaction facility at Pampa Melchorita dispatched another cargo of liquefied natural gas to Mexico last week.

The cargo was loaded on May 19 onboard the 135,072 cbm LNG carrier Gallina and sent on its way to Mexico, data from the state-owned Perupetro reveals.

Although the exact destination of the vessel has not been confirmed in the shipping data, the probable destination is the Manzanillo LNG terminal in Mexico’s Colima state.

With the latest cargo, the 4.45 mtpa LNG export facility shipped 328 vessels in total, since it started operations in June 2010.
