Petronas Carigali, a subsidiary of Petronas, has given Vantris’ subsidiary new orders under existing transport and installation contracts. These awards comprise the provision of T&I for offshore facilities at the Sepat integrated redevelopment project and the Belud South greenfield development project.

Commenting on the contract awards, Muhammad Zamri Jusoh, Vantris Energy’s Group Chief Executive Officer, remarked: “These contracts demonstrate Vantris Energy’s offshore T&I capabilities, and our continued focus to deliver sustainable performance across our core businesses, prioritising opportunities aligned with our capabilities, regional strengths, and risk appetite.”

The firm explains that both work orders are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026, with Belud South scope anticipated for completion by the fourth quarter of 2027, and the Sepat scope by the third quarter of 2029.

The operations will be executed by the company’s Engineering & Construction (E&C) arm, underscoring its efforts in strengthening E&C’s performance through disciplined execution of its core capabilities, and a strategic shift towards opportunities with lower-risk contracting models.

With a stronger balance sheet following its restructuring effective date in September 2025, Vantris Energy claims to be well positioned to continue strengthening operational excellence across all its businesses, while sustaining positive momentum in its execution and delivery.

Last year, the company won deals for a range of services with Chevron’s Thailand subsidiaries and PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP), while its drilling arm landed $720 million in drilling contracts.
