A Ramform Titan-class vessel is set to begin mobilization in June 2024, with an expected acquisition period of up to 300 days.

“Seismic activity offshore South Atlantic margin is increasing as a result of recent exploration success, and we are very pleased with this letter of award, extending visibility for one of our Ramform Titan-class vessels well into 2025,” said Rune Olav Pedersen, President and CEO of PBS.

“The combination of the Ramform acquisition platform and our GeoStreamer technology is well suited for large scale exploration surveys and positioned to deliver strong operational performance over extended time periods.”

Recently, PGS secured a 4D contract in Northern Europe with what it describes as an “independent energy company”.

The Ramform Tethys vessel is planned to mobilize for the survey in late April 2024, with the project spanning around 30 days in total.
