Picture of the day: LNG STS transfer in Gibraltar

Gibraltar Port Authority informed a liquefied natural gas ship-to-ship transfer was carried out in Gibraltar bay. 

The operation was conducted by two Golar LNG vessels the 160,000 cbm Golar Crystal, delivered in May 2014 and the 160,000 cbm Golar Ice that was delivered to its owner in February 2015.

Transfer of liquefied natural gas between the two vessels was conducted on June 16 with the cast-off on Sunday, June 19, according to the port authority.
