Portugal: Public Tender for Privatization of ENVC Shipyard Prolonged

A public tender for the Privatization of a Portuguese shipyard that was announced last month and has been postponed until 17th August 2012 13.00pm.

The largest naval construction shipyard in Portugal the ENVC has an yearly capacity to process steel of 10.000 tonnes and are experts in design, building, repair and conversion of merchant and military vessels up to 30.000 DWT, 190 meters of length, and 29 meters of width.

The Portuguese are looking for a well-positioned Shipyard/Group of Shipyards, or other that might be interested, with good economic viability, interested in submit a proposal to privatize a foreign shipyard.
