Precious Shipping Orders New Cement Carrier

Precious Shipping Public Company Limited (PSL), through its subsidiary Associated Bulk Carriers Pte. Ltd., has entered into a shipbuilding contract for a Cement Carrier with China Shipbuilding & Offshore International Co., Ltd. and Shanhaiguan New Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd.

The newbuild, scheduled for delivery by the end of November 2014, will sail under the Singapore flag.

This 20,000 DWT cement carrier will cost around $24.5 million and will “perform according to the long term charters signed with a charterer,” sources report.
