The vessel of Rolls Royce UT-Design™ type UT 776 WP is designed to satisfy demands of the offshore industry. STRIL LUNA is 92 metres long, the beam is 20 metres and a deck surface of more than 1000 square metres.

Another important characteristic is the bow design known as “Wave-piercing” that will enable the vessel to pierce through waves in extreme weather conditions, while maintaining constant speed, reducing fuel consumption and enhancing safety.

On completion in July 2014 the vessel will operate chartered by Statoil.
