Reef Worlds Plans for Underwater ‘Lost Cities’ to Boost Qatar Tourism

Reef Worlds, a Los Angeles-based company, intends to create an underwater theme park for waterfront resorts in Qatar.

The theme park would consist of artificial reef sites that would be designed like ancient Lost Cities, reports Zawya.

The aim of the project is to boost tourism and bring economic benefits for the resorts.

Dave Taylor, Director of Development for Reef Worlds was quoted as saying: “We will work with carefully selected resort partners on unique underwater habitat projects that directly support our clients’ sustainability and revenue goals.”
