Saipem hires Ocean Fighter for ERRV services

Saipem has hired Atlantic Offshore’s Ocean Fighter vessel for ERRV services for up to 200 days.

Saipem has recently received a contract to provide pipe lay services for the South Stream offshore pipeline using the Saipem 7000, a J-Lay vessel suitable for ultra-deep water that had already constructed the Blue Stream pipeline in the Black Sea.

The Ocean Fighter Standby/Supply vessel will be used to support the Saipem 7000. The Ocean Fighter,  built in 1980 in Japan, is 61.24 m long and it can accommodate 18 persons.
