Scana Offshore Vestby Wins Riser Thermal Coating Job

Scana Industrier ASA has through its subsidiary Scana Offshore Vestby, been awarded contract for upgrade of Work over Risers. The value of the contract is approximately 40 MNOK (USD 7 million). First call off has a value of approx. 22 MNOK. The company did not reveal the client’s name.

“Thermal coating of components such as production risers and other components for subsea operations is the key to Scana Offshore Vestby’s services,” Jan Henry Melhus, COO Scana Industrier, says.

 “Scana Offshore Vestby has provided thermal coating services to operators, service contractors, equipment manufacturers and rig owners for more than 20 years. The company is aiming to increase the production capacity to meet customer needs in a growing market.
