‘Sea Frost’ PSV Supports ‘Atwood Eagle’ Rig in Australia

Otto Marine Limited has secured charter contract for the ‘Sea Frost’ Platform Supply Vessel. The value of the contract is around $8.0 million.

Under the contract, which has recently started, Sea Frost has been contracted to support the Atwood Eagle rig located in Australia for a period of 152 days.

Otto did not reveal the name of the client but only said it was “a renowned oil and gas exploration and production company.” However, according to the fleet status report found on the website of Atwood Oceanics,the company which owns the drilling rig,  the Atwood Eagle is currently working for Apache Corporation.

Otto added that the client has the option of extending the contract for an additional two terms based on the same terms and conditions. According

The PSV, measuring 88.8 meters in length, was built last year. It is an 8,600 bhp PSV with 1,025 square meters of deck space.  The vessel DNV classed and equipped with dynamic positioning 2 (DP2) technology.
