SeaBird’s ‘Osprey Explorer’ to Work in South America

SeaBird Exploration Plc revealed that Osprey Explorer has been awarded a contract in South America for a major oil company. The contract has an estimated duration of approximately 75 days and a value of approximately USD 9 million. Startup is expected by the middle of March.

S/V Osprey Explorer joined SeaBird’s fleet in August 2006 after being converted to 2D Long offset/source vessel in Poland.

S/V Osprey Explorer is the first Worldwide Maritime vessel that DNV has classed as “Seismic Vessel”.
