Sif Group Expands Its Capacity

Sif Group is enhancing its offshore foundations production capacity.

With the investment in new welding technology, bending capabilities, production facilities and talent of employees the company will be able to produce monopiles up to 11 meters diameter and a maximum weight of 2.000 tons.

“Market developments indicate that in the future even more powerful turbines will be located in deeper water,”  the company said in a statement.

With its new production capacity, Sif Group will be able to manufacture up to five XL monopiles per week.
