Solstad Farstad Board Member Resigns

Solstad Farstad (SOFF) has informed that Sverre Andreas Farstad has resigned from the board of directors.

The resignation from the board has an immediate effect, the company informed.

“The nomination committee in SOFF will before the next ordinary general meeting consider whether a new board member shall be proposed as replacement for Sverre A. Farstad,” the company said.

Sverre A. Farstad has been a board member in Farstad Shipping since 1988.

He has also held various board and other positions in banking, insurance and the Norwegian Shipowners Association.

Sverre has a Business Degree from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland.
