Solstad’s DLB Norce Endeavour in Gulf of Thailand campaign

Norway’s Solstad Offshore has been awarded a contract with CUEL Limited, Thailand for the derrick lay barge DLB Norce Endeavour in the Gulf of Thailand. 

Solstad reported on Thursday that the 2011-built unit will be used for the provision of transportation and installation for Phase 4 of JDA Block B-17-01 in the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Area.

DLB Norce Endeavour will install 3 new wellhead platforms, 3 subsea pipelines, and host tie-ins for CUEL Limited. The offshore work will start in 3Q 2017 and complete in 1Q 2018 with a combined forecast utilization of the DLB Norce Endeavour of around 60 days.

The company will provide project management, engineering, procurement and logistics to support to the combined pipeline and structures offshore transportation, DLB installation and construction scope of work through its DLB Marine Projects group in its Singapore office.

Solstad added that the contract value is confidential among the parties.
