Spain: Gondan Shipyard Signs Contract with Ostensjo Rederi for Construction of New Supply Vessel

 

Gondan shipyard has just signed a new contract with the norwegian shipowner Ostensjo Rederi. This contract came into force the 8th april 2011.

The new vessel is a Supply vessel that will support the operation of Oil Rigs operating in the North Sea.

This new unit will be construction number c444 and will be the eighth one built by Gondan for Ostensjo Rederi.

The main characteristics of the vessel are:

-Length O A : 92,60 m

-Breadth : 20,60 m

-Accommodation for 40 persons

-Deck area : 1038 m2

-Designed by Skipsteknisk.

Her delivery is planned in September 2013.
