Spotted: New Cranes for Port Bronka
General cargo carrier M/V Meri is pictured here delivering three RTG cranes manufactured by Konecranes to the Marine Multipurpose Complex Bronka (MMPK Bronka, Big Port St. Petersburg).
The cranes with a lifting capacity of 50 tons able to stack one-over-five containers high were delivered from port Hanko and unloaded at Bronka’s berth No 3 in an unloading operation that lasted for 9 hours.
Meri is the first commercial vessel to come via the newly built approach canal of port Bronka.
The next call of the vessel carrying 3 RTG Konecranes for port Bronka is scheduled for August 14, 2015.
