STATS Group Continues its Push in to Asia Pacific Market with Attending Oil & Gas Asia Exhibition

Piping technology company STATS Group is continuing its push in to the Asia Pacific region with senior executives attending the Oil & Gas Asia exhibition in Kuala Lumpur. (June 1-3)

With more than 1400 companies taking part, the conference attracts more than 22,000 visitors, and Aberdeen-based STATS will showcase its unique pipeline isolation tools, the BISEP™ and Tecno Plug™.

Managing director Pete Duguid, head of subsea development Dale Millward and South East Asia business development manager Chris Lilley will attend the conference.

STATS Group are a leading provider of pipeline and process isolation and intervention services and technologies across the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, which reduce system or plant downtime and enhance safety and environmental performance.

Mr Duguid said: “It is the first time we have exhibited at OGA and it is part of a strategy of raising our profile in the region and follows the recent appointment of Chris Lilley in Singapore.

The Asian market is key to our plans for global growth and we have already delivered on our projected 2011 sales forecast for the Far East and continue to be very busy in the region. Our next step is to move forward our plans for a permanent base in Malaysia or in region.
