Subsea 7 said on Monday that the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contracts are awarded in consortium with L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, under a long-term agreement (LTA) with Saudi Aramco.

According to the company, the two workscopes, which will be executed together, consist of engineering, procurement, commissioning and installation (EPCI) of three oil production deck manifolds and subsea pipelines in Zuluf field and subsea pipelines in Berri field. Offshore execution is due to start in 2020.

“Our assets are well suited to deliver this type of work and this award builds on our track record of project execution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” said David Lowther, Subsea 7’s Vice President Middle East.

In recent company news, Subsea 7 on Friday said it had been hired by Shell for work on the Arran gas condensate field development in the UK North Sea.

Under the contract, Subsea 7 will be responsible for the project management, engineering, procurement, construction and installation of 60 kilometers of mechanically lined pipe-in-pipe production flowline, together with subsea structures and tie-ins at the Arran and Columbus gas condensate fields and the Shearwater platform.
