Synergy Subsea Hires DSV Seamec Princess for Persian Gulf

India’s provider of diver support vessel-based diving services, Seamec, has entered into a contract for the charter hire of vessel “Seamec Princess” with Dubai-based Synergy Subsea Engineering.

The Seamec Princess is a is 123.4 meters LOA dive support vessel, built in 1984, with a 12-man saturation diving system certified for 300 MSW.

The vessel provides services, which include S.B.M maintenance removal and installations, platform, riser and pipeline repairs, inspection & survey, subsea constructions, anode installations, ROV & grouting operations and hook up jobs/commissioning.

According to Seamec’s BSE notice, the vessel will be assigned to work in the Persian Gulf.

The charter, valued at approximately $900,000, is scheduled to start around January 10, 2016 and last for some 30 days with extension option.
