Taiwan to Get LNG Cargo from Qatar

Qatar, the world’s largest LNG producer, shipped an LNG cargo from the Ras Laffan Port to Taiwan on Friday, shipping data reveals.

The cargo is being carried by the 145,700 cubic-meter Umm Bab, and it is due to arrive at the Yung-An LNG terminal on February 14.

The Yung-An terminal, operated by CPC, is Taiwan’s first and largest liquefied natural gas receiving terminal.
