Teekay replaces retiring board members

Bermuda-based Teekay Corporation has on Wednesday named Alan Semple and Bill Utt as members of the company’s board of directors.

Semple and Utt are replacements for the retiring William B. Berry and Ian Blackburne that served on Teekay’s board since 2011 and 2000, respectively, the company’s statement reads.

Semple is a former director and chief financial officer of John Wood Group and has over 29 years of finance and energy industry experience.

Utt, who has over 31 years of experience in engineering and energy industry, most recently served as chairman, president and chief executive officer at the engineering company KBR until his retirement in 2014.
